Why? Because as sailors progress to expert seafarers, they gain confidence and joy in their journeys. At Balance, we prioritize customer education to help sailors maximize their enjoyment on the water. Our dedicated Balance Sailing Ambassadors deliver tailored sailing programs, and we produce a broad range of instructional videos covering every aspect of sailing, handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting a Balance Catamaran.
We invite not only Balance owners but the entire sailing community to explore our YouTube channel and enhance their sailing knowledge.
The Handover Series
We understand the handover process can feel overwhelming. New owners participate in a multi-day walkthrough covering their boat’s systems, including orientation, operation, and troubleshooting. With so much information shared, it’s easy to forget important details.
To support our owners, we’ve created a series of 50 videos on topics such as freshwater pumps, fuel systems, and watermakers. These videos are available in our Owner’s Portal and can be viewed ahead of or anytime after handover.

Our Owner’s Portal is a private space on our website offering all the resources Balance owners need for their journey. From choosing options to trip planning and aftersales service, everything is covered. The portal is now also available as an app.
Additionally, you can join an active Facebook group where owners share experiences, stories, questions, and requests.
Balance Sailing Ambassadors
In partnership with Outer Passage, Balance offers sailing and passage-making instruction in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Captains Darren and Amanda, with over 35,000 nautical miles of experience, guide sailors of all levels through courses like Demo Day Sails and Atlantic Passage Making.
