A diagnosis of dementia or dealing with memory issues even without a diagnosis, can be very scary and affect everyone in the family circle. The support we offer is for the whole family at any stage – and also at times of bereavement. You are welcome to attend The Hub with or without a diagnosis and carers and wider family members are always welcome too.
We have an active team of volunteers who have been PVG checked and we offer support three times every week.
The Dementia Hub is supported by the Community Mental Health Team for older people.
There is no charge for the support we provide (except when we go on trips)
Tuesday 11.30 – 2pm Drop in…..

This is a weekly art class for people living with dementia and is run in partnership with Crossreach. All materials and the support of a professional artist are provided. No experience of painting is necessary.
We have regular exhibitions of our artists’ work.
We have limited spaces available so please contact Karen, the Hub Administrator for further information
a short (maximum half hour) dementia friendly health walk (in partnership with Get Walking Lanarkshire) followed by time for a chat over a cuppa.
If you don’t feel like walking, don’t let that stop you joining us for a cuppa, a blether or even a game of dominoes.
We offer trips at least four times per year using an accessible coach – we normally make a charge for our trips to cover costs of transport.
